The hotel is superbly located on the river with well appointed, clean and roomy accomodation. The Hotel has a very friendly atmosphere and the staff are courtious and very well presented at all times. Service was extremely professional and efficient. The whole hotel has a relaxed ambiance and a genuine effort is made to make you feel welcome and enjoy your stay.

I just wanted to send you a quick note to say thanks very much for all your help and organisation for our wedding reception on 15th September. Everything went very smoothly and we had a wonderful day. The weather was glorious - I think we must have had the sunniest Saturday of the year, which is not bad for September!

Thanks also to the team who looked after us on the day. The room looked great and we were well looked after.

The flowers were fab, the DJ was great, such a nice bloke and he played all the dodgy stuff we asked for, without laughing too much. Our bedroom was amazing and everyone loved the complementary mini bar.

On the day all the hotel staff were amazing, so helpful and thoughtful. Everything was organised so well from the registrar meeting to the music for the ceremony.

Please could you pass on my thanks to everyone and I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone having a party or special occasion. We all felt that the hotel was amazing not just because of the location but because the rooms, the service and the staff made it feel like a hotel that cares about its guests and provides an excellent well thought out personal service. You rock J

I stayed one night at the Mitre so that I could attend the Hampton Court Garden Show. It was a very pleasant experience. The room was spacious and comfortable. The free mini bar was well stocked and the service friendly and welcoming. The hotel was full of pleasant surprises like the Minstrells Library and the excellent restaurant. It is certainly "olde worlde" so if you are after brash modern, it is not for you. I would certainly stay there again.

I have never stayed in a 4 star hotel and we decided to book a superior room. We were in the catherine howard room and everything was excellent and we had a lovely view over the thames....we had booked to see eric clapton at hampton court and this was just across the road....we were hungry after the show and ordered sandwiches and these were sent to our room and were very good, the staff were very helpful.....after a good nights sleep we went down to breakfast and there was everything you could wish for we went for the full english and had a lovely fresh fruit salad after...unfortunately we were only there for one night, i wish it could have been longer and would love to return there.

Beautiful location right on the River Thames, the decking on the waterway is a nice place to relax with a G & T whilst savouring the delights of the menu! The rooms are inviting with thoughtful touches such as a complimentary bar, and ironing facilities in the room. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, and even arranged for a taxi to collect us from miles away, when we were stranded in the middle of nowhere after a concert!

Very pleasant hotel with a lot of character in a great situation on the River Thames across the road from Hampton Court Palace. The terrace bar and brasserie enables one to experience life on the river while enjoying a drink and /or a meal. The main restaurant where one has Breakfast has lovely views across the river and an excellent buffet breakfast.

Very nicely situated across from Hampton Court Palace. The room had a comfortable big bed was  very cosy. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
